Marian attended modeling courses in Madrid between November 2015 and August 2016. She loves to learn, to work hard, practices daily the runway on her own and attends many other activities.
Marian’s first photoshoot and portfolio was made on march 2016 and was presented as the first spanish down syndrome model in social media.
On march 2016, Marian walked the runway, for the first time, with the designer Lina Lavin, for the benefit of fibromyalgia in Hotel Ritz Madrid.
The digital newspaper “El Espanol” interviewed her on June 2016. They published the story with the title “The girl with down syndrome who wants to succeed as a model”.
On June 2016 Marian was invited to walk the runway by the designer Francis Montesinos in Valencia, and on September 2016 she walked the runway in Sevilla Fashion Week.
The photograher Victor Cucart, “Hola” international fashion magazine, has made Marian two photo shoots (10/16 and 11/17).
Marian has walked other runways, in Madrid, i.e.:
“Sala Fortuny” (10/16), “Vintage in Bodevil Theater” (11/16), “Xishang-Intercontinental” (01/17), “Spanish Runway” (04/17), “Fashion & Design Madrid University” (06/17), “Madrid Young Designers” in Cibeles Palace (06/17), “McDonalds Runway” (10/17), “Pepe Ferández Sevillania” Flamenco Dress designer. (10/17).
On December 2016 Marian was interviewed for Alicante’s Social Comunication and advertising University, and on April 2017 for the “Spanish Runway” and for Down Madrid.
On march 2017 Marian is selected in a casting to star in a fashion ad for “El Corte Ingles”, one of the most important fashion stores in Spain.
Since then, she has been asked to be interviewed in national and international media, i.e: TV: “La Mañana, NTN-24” (07/17) and “Hora Punta, TVE 1” (03/18); Radio: “Poniendo las calles, Cope Radio” (06/17), “Radio Libertad” (06/17), “Fin de semana, Cope Radio” (07/17).
Her photograph was published in the “Xishang Magazine” on January 2017 and her interview for “Insport”, digital magazine, was published on December 2017.
Marian attends since July 2017 group interpretation classes at “Primera Toma”; speech & singing classses at “Laboratorio de la Voz”, and personal coaching to express emotions and to keep fit and healthy.
Marian also attends Master classes and intensive courses all the year.
Marian has been invited to walk the runway next September 2018 in N.Y.F.W
Marián realizó cursos de modelaje en Madrid entre Noviembre de 2015 y Agosto de 2016. Le encanta aprender y trabajar duro. Practica diariamente la pasarela y realiza muchas otras actividades.
La primera sesión fotográfica para el “book” de Marian se hizo en Marzo de 2016 y fue presentada en las redes sociales como la primera modelo española con síndrome de down.
En Marzo de 2016 Marián desfiló, por primera vez, con la diseñadora Lina Lavin, en un evento benéfico para la fibromialgia, en el Hotel Ritz de Madrid.
El periódico digital “El Español” la entrevistó en junio de 2016 y publicó el reportaje “La chica con síndrome de down que quiere triunfar como modelo”.
En junio de 2016 Marián fue invitada a desfilar por el diseñador Francis Montesinos en Valencia y en Septiembre desfiló en la Fashion Week de Sevilla.
El fotógrafo Victor Cucart, de la revista internacional de moda “Hola” ha realizado dos sesiones fotográficas con Marián (10/16 y 11/17).
Marián ha participado en otros desfiles en Madrid, como:
“Sala Fortuny” (10/16), “Vintage en Bodevil Theater” (11/16), “Xishang-Intercontinental” (01/17), “Pasarela Española” (04/17), “Universidad de Moda y Diseño de Madrid” (06/17), “Jovenes Diseñadores de Madrid” en el Palacio de Cibeles (06/17), “Desfile de Mc Donalds” (10/17), “Pepe Fernández Sevillanía” en Oliva (10/17).
En Diciembre de 2016 Marián fue entrevistada por la Universidad de Comunicación Social y Publicidad de Alicante y en Abril de 2017 por la “Pasarela Española” y por “Down Madrid”.
En Marzo de 2017 Marian es seleccionada en el casting para protagonizar el anuncio publicitario “Soy Yo” de “El Corte Ingles”.
Desde entonces se la ha entrevistado en medios nacionales e internacionales como: TV: “La Mañana, NTN-24” (07/17) y “Hora Punta, TVE” (03/18), Radio: “Poniendo las calles, Cope” (06/17), “Fin de semana, Cope” (07/17).
Su fotografía fue publicada en la revista china “Xishang” en Enero de 2017 y su entrevista y fotos por la revista digital “Insport” fue publicada en Diciembre de 2017 y Abril de 2018.
Marián participa en clases grupales de interpretación en “Primera Toma” y en clases de voz y canto en el “Laboratorio de la voz” y también recibe clases personalizadas para expresión emocional y para mantenerse en forma.
Marián también asiste a cursos intensivos y clases Master durante el año.
Marián ha sido invitada a desfilar en la pasarela de la NYFW en Septiembre de 2018.
